Laying 500 metres of Cable for new site in Suffolk
When a new power plant is constructed, quite often the trickiest thing to do is to connect it to the grid. Thankfully EAST have much expertise at making sure that the best solution for the customer is designed and implemented. Any solution must also be robust, so that the possibility that cables are not dug up at a later date is minimised.
One of EASTs Project Engineers Neil Bracey is seen here inspecting the trench that is over 500 metres in length.
