CHAMPIONING COMMUNITY SPIRIT
Our approach to charity is centred on active participation—not just financial contributions. We take immense pride in our partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital, amongst other charities.
We recognise that each individual has causes close to their heart, and so, we have introduced a policy enabling a full paid day of leave for charity work. This empowerment allows our staff to step into the community and contribute to a cause of their choosing, helping to transform lives and enacting real change.
By participating in various fundraising events—from charity walks to bake sales and sports tournaments—our teams unite in a shared goal of aiding those in need. In 2023 alone, our collective efforts culminated in raising over £12,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, supporting the hospital’s mission to change young lives.
In 2023, the team at Energy and System Technical Limited aimed to collect £10,000 for the children's charity at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and exceeded this goal by raising almost £12,000. Their diverse fundraising activities included a sports tournament, sponsored cooking, skydiving, and fun runs. These efforts could notably support two months of research for better treatments for aggressive paediatric brain cancer.
Following their success in 2023, the company is on board to support the charity again in 2024. Their contributions are vital for the hospital’s innovative research, improved medical equipment, and enhanced patient care services. We're grateful for their efforts, which enable a brighter future for seriously ill children."
