new connections ranging from 11kV and 33kV up to 132kV.
Civil Design Services
Emphasising an integrated approach, our civil design services are crafted to meet diverse project requirements whilst complying with local regulations and standards. Our civil design services include:
Initial site planning layout drawings & support
Detailed site layouts, elevations & electrical clearance drawings
Substation foundation and design analysis for all types of equipment, including structural calculations and rebar detailing
Full 3D modelling and rendering for a comprehensive representation of the project's final outcome
Implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for enhanced project visualisation and coordination.
Electrical Design Services
We offer a range of services from detailed protection design to studies to asses the expected performance of an electrical system, including:

Contestable and Private Networks
As a NERS accredited ICP, we work with all UK DNO's on contestable projects up to 132kV, whilst our partnership with IDNO's enables us to provide asset adoption offers that help power our clients' businesses in a cost-effective way. With our RISQS accreditation, we possess the capacity to provide strategic asset replacement projects and operational support within the rail industry.
Our comprehensive range of solutions extends to private network owners, encompassing the replacement of existing assets, network expansion, installation of additional equipment and substations, as well as private wire connections from renewable energy generators to demand users.
Commissioning and Testing
Our testing and commissioning engineers ensure that each project is fully energised and undergoes various types of protection testing and certification, including DNO-witnessed G99. We also commission high voltage apparatus like transformers and ring main units, conduct functional checks on interface signals, and install high voltage and low voltage equipment such as metering devices and battery chargers.
We are delighted to have supported a range of groundbreaking projects, including powering the UK's largest vertical farm and largest river-source heat pump system. That's why we hold stock of spare transformers, switchgear, cable, and protection relays dedicated to our O&M customers.
