Promoting Within: Lauren Steps into the Role of Project Support Manager

At East Solutions, we place a high value on internal development and take great pleasure in announcing the promotion of Lauren Cunnington from Project Coordinator to Project Support Manager.

Lauren started her journey at East Solutions in 2022 as a Project Coordinator, where she oversaw all areas of a projects delivery, working with the Project Managers to ensure that all project activities were completed within agreed timescales and budgets.

Her responsibilities included coordinating key deliverable dates between design and project delivery, developing project programmes, and exploring alternative methods to achieve time or commercial savings. Lauren also served as the primary point of contact for customers, liaised with suppliers and the DNO in the initial project stages to gather information and responses. To ensure project delivery within budget, Lauren collaborated closely with the finance department to monitor financial progress throughout the project, proactively identifying issues in coordination with the Project Manager.

Over the past two years, Lauren has contributed to several significant projects, such as the successful delivery of two new 132kV and five 33kV connections. During this period, notable career achievements include achieving PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification, while challenges have been adapting to a new industry and trying to gain an insight into field of electrical engineering. In addition to her previous duties, Lauren's new job role responsibilities encompass overseeing the project administration team and supporting the broader projects team in project implementation.
