For many, the start of a financial year is about numbers and forecasts, but here at East Solutions, we believe in making a difference from the get-go. The first quarter of 2024 has been nothing short of electrifying with our teams undertaking two daring challenges. In a world that often speaks volumes about giving back, we decided to take a literal leap and run the extra mile to do just that.
On the 26th September 2023, a dozen of Team EAST boarded a plane with one mission in mind—to jump for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our very brave (if slightly crazy!) colleagues Ben, Ady, Dean, Brad, Callum, Skott, Micheal, Stuart, Finn, Lorraine, Olly, and Alex ascended 10,000 feet and faced the ultimate test of nerve.
The very next day, the energy was still high with a group of twelve swapping parachutes for trainers and tackling a 5k obstacle course. Norwich Showground turned into an inflatable obstacle as Michael, Lauren, Aiden, Brad, Stuart, Arianna, Jack, Lorraine, Jayne, Zanele, Alex, and Toby took on an array of challenges.
What mattered at the end of these back-to-back events was not just the conquered fears or the proof that we could push our limits but the difference made to the lives of children receiving care at GOSH. Our brave colleagues not only faced their own personal achievements but went above and beyond to raise vital funds for the hospital's life-changing work.
